Why Gunwalloe?

There are 21 surf life saving clubs in Cornwall. Here is why families keep choosing Gunwalloe.

A Non-Competitive Ethos

We believe great surf life saving does not depend on being the fastest or most competitive. Every member progresses at their own pace. Competitions exist but are never compulsory.

Real Cornish Community

Gunwalloe SLSC is run entirely by volunteers from the local community. Parents coach. Parents help in the sea. Parents run the catering. It is a club built by the people who use it.

Qualifications That Last a Lifetime

The SLSGB awards your child earns at Gunwalloe are recognised internationally. A Bronze Medallion earned at Church Cove opens doors on beaches in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and beyond.

Not Sure Where to Start?
